Guardian Insurance Brokers is proud to celebrate Customer Relationship Manager, Shannan Gardner, who this week was named among Insurance Business’ Elite Women 2026, an annual list recognising the top female achievers across the Asia‑Pacific insurance market.
Insurance Business (IB) unveiled its Elite Women 2026 list this week, spotlighting 70 female leaders shaping the future of insurance. The honour recognises women who have driven meaningful business results, demonstrated exceptional leadership, and made significant contributions to their communities.
Among this accomplished cohort is Guardian Insurance Brokers’ very own Shannan Gardner, who has been an integral part of the brokerage for 6 years.
Shannan says being acknowledged at this level is both humbling and deeply motivating.

Alongside her career with Guardian, Shannan is also an Active Response Volunteer with the State Emergency Service (SES). A commitment that reflects her passion for community support and leadership beyond the workplace.
Shannan says she hopes her work across both the insurance sector and emergency services helps inspire more women to pursue leadership roles in traditionally male‑dominated industries.
“In my first year of service with the SES, I was honoured to receive the New Member Award and Service Medal in recognition of my commitment to the unit. I’ve also taken on the role of Engagement and Retention Coordinator for Western Australia. My hope is that these achievements show other women that they absolutely can do it too.”
