Supporting the community we call home.
Giving back is a big part of who we are
Guardian is proud to support its employees, their interests, and community involvement, and considers sponsorship a great way to do this. We love seeing the difference even small acts of kindness can make, and we’re proud to be part of such a supportive and connected community. Over the years, we’ve supported many sporting teams and organisations and now proudly sponsor the Adelaide Giants.
Throughout the year, our team participates in fundraisers for RU Ok Day, Cancer Council’s Biggest Morning Tea, Guide Dogs Australia PAWGUST challenge, Go PINK for the National Breast Cancer Foundation, and MS May 50K.
Our staff are also given a paid day of leave to volunteer at a charity or organisation of their choice.
Every month at the SOL Results networking breakfast event, Guardian is a major sponsor. We cover the costs for the mobile coffee van and coffee supplies, with the proceeds going towards supporting the homeless.
Another way we love to give back is by offering free use of our LED screen to local not-for-profits. It’s a great way to promote events, fundraisers, or community messages – and with around 30,000 cars passing by each day, it gets plenty of eyes.
The screen is right outside our office at the corner of Henley Beach Road and McCarthy Lane in Mile End. If you’re part of a not-for-profit or want to learn more, feel free to reach out at marketing@guardian.com.au or give us a call on 08 8238 0100.

Sponsor feedback
Guardian Insurance Brokers and Managing Director Evan Jackson have been the major sponsors for the Greek Orthodox Community of South Australia’s Odyssey Art Prize for many years. The Prize, part of the annual cultural Greek Odyssey Festival, encourages and motivates South Australian artists to explore their cultural heritage through visual narratives and celebrate their identity.
Art plays a vital role in safeguarding our cultural heritage and inspiring future generations. In an increasingly interconnected world, it has the potential to bring people together and transcend cultural barriers. With the ongoing support of sponsors like Guardian Insurance Brokers the Greek Orthodox Community of South Australia, since its establishment in 1930, has supported emerging artists and created a space where diverse voices are celebrated, cultural perspectives are redefined, and dialogue is promoted.
